Kitchen Essence terms and conditions

Introduction

The following are the terms and conditions for the purchase of products from Kitchen Essence. Use of this website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Pricing

Kitchen Essence retains the right to revise our prices at any time to reflect changes in our costs such as but not limited to: goods, carriage, labour, overheads, government taxes and exchange rates. All prices are in Euro (€) and inclusive of VAT at 23%. All products are offered subject to availability.

Photographs/Images

We take all reasonable care to ensure our images accurately reflect the product being sold.

Accuracy of Information

While we endeavour to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on this website are correct and not misleading at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system, we do not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on it. We may make changes to the material on it or to the products and prices described in it, at any time without notice. 

Cancellation of Orders

At our sole discretion, Kitchen Essence may cancel all or part of any order for goods at any time before the goods are delivered by giving notice to the Buyer. On giving such notice we shall repay within fourteen days to the Buyer any sums paid to Kitchen Essence in respect of a cancelled order. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such cancellation.

Delivery Information and Associated Charges

Delivery Charges

Deliveries within Ireland and the United Kingdom:

Delivery is FREE to Ireland and the United Kingdom on all orders.
    
All Other Countries:

The delivery charges are calculated on the total weight of all items in your Shopping Basket / Cart at the Checkout Page.

Dispatch

We will endeavour to dispatch your order within 1 to 3 working days subject to the availability of the goods. In the event of the items not being available, we will contact you by email or by phone.

Delivery Method, Times and Terms

Delivery within Ireland


All items will be delivered with An Post.  If the item ordered is larger than normal envelope size, you are advised that there needs to be someone at the address to take delivery of the order.  You may find it easier to give a work address, if possible, when it is unlikely that anyone will be able to accept your order at the home address. Where An Post is unable to make delivery, then a note will be left for you to collect your order at your nearest An Post Parcel/Packet Collection point.  If after 3 days, the item has not been collected from the An Post Parcel/Packet Collection point, it will be returned to Kitchen Essence.  In this instance you will have to pay a further postal charge to have the goods re-delivered to the original or an alternative address.


Delivery to Areas Outside of the Republic of Ireland

Depending on the weight / size of items ordered, dispatch from Ireland will be made with, but not limited to, the following carriers: An Post, Royal Mail, DPD, Parcelforce.  Please ensure that delivery address details including postcode and home/mobile telephone number are correct.  These details need to be accurate as we cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery if your address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect.  Please note that as the couriers and delivery services tend to deliver during the working day you may find it easier to give a work address, if possible, when it is unlikely that anyone will be able to accept your order at your home address.  The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered when the courier obtains confirmation of receipt for the goods from any person at the address that you have given. Where the courier/delivery person is unable to find a person to accept delivery, the recipient will be contacted by the courier using the phone numbers given when placing the order and will make arrangements for the delivery or by leaving notification of attempted delivery and pick-up of goods can be made at a Postal Serveice Collection Point. If contact cannot be made or if goods are not collected from the Postal Service Collection Point the goods will be returned to Kitchen Essence and a charge will be made for re-delivery to the original or an alternative address.

We recommend you inspect goods on receipt for any damage or faults.

Refunds and Returns

Unwanted / Unsuitable Goods

Unwanted or unsuitable goods can be returned within seven working days of receipt. Your purchase must be returned in its original packaging, the product must be unused and in perfect condition and in a resalable state. Any unwanted/unsuitable items shall be returned at your own cost. We recommend using a reliable, insured carrier to return the item. On receipt of the returned goods, the credit or debit card which was originally used for payment will be refunded within 30 days.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

If goods, on receipt, are damaged, faulty or incorrect  in any way you should contact us at customerservice@kitchenessence.ie or +353(0)74 9176919+353(0)74 9176919 as soon as possible and we will arrange for a replacement, repair or refund. The costs of returning damaged, faulty or incorrect goods will be the responsibility of Kitchen Essence.

Warranties and Liabilities

Kitchen Essence gives no warranties, representations, statements or guarantees (whether expressed or implied) in relation to the website in particular with limitation, any warranties regarding infringement and freedom from viruses. Use of this website is at your sole risk and if you are unhappy with the terms and conditions of this website you should cease using it.

Kitchen Essence accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred by you directly or indirectly by your use of this website or your use of information obtained while passing through this website.

The Kitchen Essence website may contain links to third party websites. These links are provided for your convenience. Kitchen Essence does not endorse these websites or their contents.

Kitchen Essence’s total liability for any claim however it arises shall not exceed the price paid for the goods supplied by us to you together with any delivery charges incurred.

This website, its contents and any contracts arising out of it are governed by and in accordance with the laws of Ireland.

Force Majeure

We shall not be held responsible for any delay or for failure to comply with the obligations under these terms and conditions if the delay or failure comes about, either directly or indirectly, due to cause or causes beyond our reasonable control.

General

These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
